A number of new smoke machines will be on display during the trade fair in Frankfurt, including the Antari M4 and M7. These 1500 W smoke machines simulate a CO2 effect but can also be tilted onto their sides to function as a ‘normal’ smoke machine.
The smoke machines imitate a CO2 effect by blowing a plume of thick smoke upwards. It is a frequently used effect, usually requiring special gas tanks and shooters. The robust design of the M4 and M7 foggers makes them perfect for on-stage use. They can also shoot out smoke horizontally as well as vertically. The liquid tank is encased in a separate section and is made in such a way that no liquid can leak in either position. All versions are equipped with a PowerCon plug and DMX connection. They are also easy to rig.
Wireless DMX
The Antari M4 with article number 60765 is equipped with a wireless DMX receiver. This technology was developed by our partner Wireless Solutions in Sweden. The signal is stable and has a reach of up to 700 m. This greatly increases the options for special effects. As soon as a Wireless Solutions transmitter is connected to the DMX line, this wireless smoke machine works in the same way as the version with a cable.
22 RGB LEDs
For extra effects, the Antari M7 is the right choice. This smoke machine is fitted with 22 LEDs, divided into red, green, and blue. As the LEDs are fitted around the nozzle, the smoke plume is illuminated brightly from below. There are eight DMX channels available for optimum control, and for the sake of convenience a number of chases have been pre-programmed.
