The PWK-218SUB from PowerWorks is a horn loaded subwoofer enclosure with dual 18″speakers featuring 4″inch voice coils and will provide a punchy, extended low end signal with a continuous power rating of 1000W. Ideal for use at outdoor events and large indoor concerts featuring either DJ’s or rock bands, this subwoofer will deliver clear, high SPL without distortion.

Being a ‘passive’ speaker, the PWK-218SUB will require a ‘power amplifier’ to provide the audio signal and the power required to drive the subwoofer. Power amps are either sold as standalone units, or may be included as part of a mixing desks.
